Behind the piano...

Madison Dawn, a crooning songbird from North Carolina, is locally loved for her soothing voice and captivatingly warm presence behind the piano. A truly hopeless romantic, she enchants audiences with her intimately-styled songcraft.

After falling in love with the piano as a young child and with songwriting as a teenager, Madison was studying to receive her bachelor's degree in music when she began experimenting with self-producing songs in her bedroom. The very first to result was her jazzy indie pop tune "Good Days", which she independently released in June 2019. The single was quickly received with an incredible amount of love from all around the globe on Spotify and many more streaming services.

A simple life of boundless creativity, music, copious amounts of dancing, wholehearted loving, baking sweets and cooking greens, probably too much herbal tea, and living in the sun fill my days with all the inspiration that overflows into music. I create out of a radical joy for creating - at and away from the piano - and the vulnerable expression and possibility that a piece of art holds once it is so bravely released. 

And the short of it is, I create music for dancing. Dizzy, in love. With someone. With life.
